CAIRO: Tariq Tayel, head of Egypt’s mission in Ramallah, discussed with Palestinian Interior Minister Ziad Hab Al-Reeh ways to enhance cooperation.
They stressed the importance of existing cooperation frameworks between Egyptian and Palestinian institutions, including the two interior ministries.
Tayel said Egypt will continue to provide all forms of support in various fields, with the aim of consolidating the foundations of institutions leading to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, consistent with relevant UN resolutions.
