Hajj 2022: Pilgrims arrive in Arafat to conduct their prayers and supplications
Hajj pilgrims traveled to Arafat early Friday morning after spending the evening in Mina for Tarwiyah, the eighth day of Dul Hijjah.
Most of the pilgrims made the journey on the Makkah Metro while others traveled on foot via the 25-kilometer walkway that connects Arafat with Mina through Muzdalifah.
The pilgrims spent the duration of the day in Arafat praying and making supplications until sunset before traveling to Muzdalifah.
Volunteers from numerous charities and Saudi organizations were seen passing out cold beverages, meals, and ice cream to keep the pilgrims hydrated and cool during the day in Arafa.
