DUBAI: US comedian Kevin Hart gave fans a giggle on Wednesday by learning to speak Arabic in an advert for the UAE’s Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
In the short video shared on the island’s Instagram page, the standup comedian and actor says in Arabic: “Hello, it’s me: Kevin Hart. I’m the chief island officer of Yas Island. Give us a follow on Instagram.”
The video shows Hart as he struggles to pronounce “give us” in Arabic.
In the series of promotional clips shared on social media, the actor, who was announced as the chief island officer in May, was seen exploring the activities available for tourists on Yas Island.
He tried the “world’s fastest rollercoaster” at the island’s amusement park, Ferrari World. He was also spotted at a golf course and at the water park, Yas Water World.
