RIYADH: Bahrain’s latest issue of treasury bills, valued at 70 million Bahraini dinars ($185 million), has been subscribed by 100 percent.
The bills, issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain, carry a maturity of 91 days and are dated Aug. 31, 2022, according to a statement.
The weighted average rate of interest is 2.83 percent compared to 2.53 percent of the previous issue.
With this issue, the total outstanding value of the Bahrain government’s treasury bills has reached 2.01 billion Bahraini dinars.
