RIYADH: Jordan is set to receive €70 million ($78.9 million) from the European Investment Bank to increase efficiency in the use of water resources, SPA reported.
The money will be spent in the Jordan Valley in line with the country’s National Water Strategy program.
Freshwater resources will also be reallocated from agricultural irrigation uses and drinking water supplies.
