LISBON: The Saudi ambassador to Portugal, Prince Saud bin Abdulmohsin bin Abdulaziz, on Friday met with Abdulaziz bin Askar Al-Harbi, the acting chief executive officer of the Saudi Arabian Mining Co.(Maaden).

Their talks in the Portuguese capital Lisbon took place following Maaden’s participation as a platinum sponsor of the recent World Fertilizer Conference held in Boston, in the US.

The World Fertilizer Conference draws hundreds of industry professionals, and representatives from around the world who represent all sectors of the fertilizer industry.

From the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic to deep dives into innovation, the economy, public policy, and more, the conference is considered one of the most important business and networking event for the global fertilizer industry.
