RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s National Housing Co. (NHC) has launched the Wa’ed program to qualify newly graduated Saudi engineers for the labor market, CNBC Arabia reported.

The Wa’ed program is consistent with The Human Capability Development Program, one of the newly refreshed Vision 2030 programs.

The NHC said that over 700 will graduate from the program by 2025. This will increase jobs for engineers, especially in the sectors of architecture and construction.

There are 95 projects under construction under the government’s Sakani program, providing 141,000 housing units. These projects represent an opportunity to employ Saudi engineers.
