Saudi HR ministry records 1,981 labor violations

  • The ministry received 1,281 reports via various media, which were directly handled by officials

RIYADH: Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development control teams carried out 25,114 inspection tours on private sector enterprises in the Kingdom to ensure compliance with labor regulations.
Teams also followed up on precautionary and preventive measures against the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The inspection tours, carried out between March 11-17, recorded 1,981 violations of work regulations and 139 violations of precautionary measures, while the ministry issued 2,112 warnings.

Since its inception, the Kingdom has provided more than $142 billion in humanitarian, development, and charitable assistance and implemented 8,457 projects in 173 countries worldwide.
 The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center was established in 2015, with the aim to boost transparency, impartiality, and professionalism. 
Its work extends beyond the provision of emergency assistance to include empowering affected communities and enhancing their capacity to recover from crises, reflecting the Kingdom’s enduring commitment to sustainable humanitarian impact.
