  • LuLu has collaborated with banks and e-payment platforms for cashback offers and vouchers for both online and offline customers

Regional retailer LuLu Hypermarkets has launched its “Dream Drive” promotion, offering shoppers a chance to win 16 Mini Coopers, alongside massive discounts across all product categories.

The promotion coincides with LuLu’s 11th anniversary and the “Black Friday” shopping season across the globe. The campaign will highlight electronics, mobile phones, and fashion, in addition to key products from grocery and fresh food categories.

The anniversary promotion was announced in a virtual press meet held at LuLu’s Riyadh office in the presence of Shehim Muhammed, director of LuLu Hypermarkets Saudi Arabia; Yasser Hussain Ahmed Al-Qahtani, HR manager of LuLu Group Saudi Arabia; Muhammad Ahmad Abdul Jalil Bubushait, executive manager at LuLu Hypermarkets, Eastern Province; and Abdullah Hamdan Suwailem, marketing manager at LuLu.

Shehim Muhammed said: “Over the years of serving the residents in the Kingdom, we have seen a huge increase in the demand for an international range of products, which has become one of the key strengths of LuLu in attracting a multi-ethnic customer base. As a way of giving back to our shoppers, we are celebrating our 11th year with our biggest promotion yet by not just highlighting a car giveaway, but also featuring a great mix of in-store discounts, live deals, hourly and surprise offers, auction sales, and exchange offers.”

LuLu’s “Super Friday” promotion offers big discounts across all major categories, such as electronics (up to 60 percent), smart phones (up to 45 percent), gaming (up to 45 percent), home appliances (up to 50 percent), household (up to 75 percent), perfumes (up to 70 percent), fashion (up to 50 percent), and grocery products (up to 60 percent).

LuLu has also collaborated with banks and e-payment platforms for cashback offers and vouchers for both online and offline customers. Customers using the American Express card and spending SR500 ($133) or more will receive SR50 in the cashback deal, while SABB and Alawwal cardholders can avail a 10 percent discount for a minimum spend of SR500. The maximum discount is SR100.

Running until Dec. 5, offers will be available across more than 17 stores in the country and LuLu’s online shopping portal www.luluhypermarket.com/en-sa/. In anticipation of high demand, LuLu has added more vehicles and beefed up its global contact center with a significant increase in manpower to better reach and serve its customers.

The “Dream Drive” promotion is valid until Feb. 22, 2021. To get the raffle coupon, shoppers have to download the Lulu Shopping app via Android or IOS devices and register by providing all the required details.
