LONDON: Saudi Arabia announced 19 deaths from COVID-19 and 473 new infections on Tuesday.
Of the new cases, 73 were recorded in Madinah, 45 in Makkah, 40 in Riyadh, 37 in Jeddah, 26 in Yanbu and 18 in Hail.
The total number of recoveries in the Kingdom increased to 335,153 after 481 more patients recovered from the virus.
A total of 5,456 people have succumbed to the virus in the Kingdom so far.

Saudi Minister Al-Jubeir attends Guyana Energy Conference, meets President Ali
RIYADH: Adel Al-Jubeir, the Saudi minister of state for foreign affairs, member of the Council of Ministers, and envoy for climate, is participating in the Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo at Georgetown, the Kingdom’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on X.
Al-Jubeir has also met Guyana’s President Mohamed Irfaan Ali. The parties focused on bilateral relations and discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
Al-Jubeir recently met Arnoldo Andre Tinoco, Costa Rica’s minister of foreign affairs and worship, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
