King Abdul Aziz Falconry Festival registration opens

  • The festival will include Mazayen — a falcon beauty pageant — and Melwah, a falcon-calling contest (over 400 meters)

RIYADH: Registration of participants in the third edition of the King Abdul Aziz Falconry Festival will open on Sunday. The festival will kick off on Nov. 28 in Malham, north of Riyadh.
Registration will continue until Monday in the Green Gym in Dammam and will be followed by Hafr Al-Batin governorate in Al-Batin Football Club on Oct. 28-29.
The third stage of registration will be on Nov. 1-2 in the headquarters of Al-Orouba Sports Club in Sakaka, Nov. 4 in the headquarters of Al-Majd Football Club in Yanbu, on Nov. 6-7 in Al-Nader Falcon Center in Jeddah, and on Nov. 8-9 in Al-Nayfah Falcon Center in Qassim.
Registration in Riyadh opens on Nov. 6 and continues until Nov. 21.
The festival will include Mazayen — a falcon beauty pageant — and Melwah, a falcon-calling contest (over 400 meters).
Each competition will be open to Farkh (less than one-year-old) and Qurnass (more than one-year-old) birds.

Saudi foreign minister discusses regional developments with Kuwaiti counterpart

MUNICH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with Kuwaiti Minister Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on the sidelines of the 2026 Munich Security Conference.

The two ministers reviewed bilateral relations and explored ways to further strengthen cooperation. 

They also discussed the latest regional developments.

The meeting was also attended by Mohammad Alyahya, advisor to the Saudi foreign minister.
