MAKKAH: The president of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has launched the plan to receive Hajj pilgrims this year in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais said that the aim was to help pilgrims perform their rituals with safety. He said that the presidency had harnessed its human resources and expertise, in cooperation with bodies that specialized in crowd management, to set the highest precautionary, preventive, guiding and directing measures to ensure the smooth execution of this year’s plan.

Saudi defense minister, Jordanian counterpart condemn Iranian attacks
RIYADH: Saudi Arabia's Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman held a telephone call with Jordanian Prime Minister and counterpart Jafar Hassan, state news agency SPA reported.
During their call, the two officials expressed condemnation of the Iranian attacks that targeted Saudi Arabia and Jordan as well as the other countries in the region, and reaffirmed their countries’ support for measures being undertaking to preserve security and stability.
