Saudi civil aviation authority highlights success of training programs

  • GACA also said it wanted to empower Saudi women to work in various fields within the Kingdom’s civil aviation sector

RIYADH: The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) said it provided 430 training programs in 2019, with 4,968 training seats available.
The programs aim to train and develop national cadres in accordance with international civil aviation standards.
The training drive included 2,304 training seats for the Saudi Academy of Civil Aviation program, of which 1,608 were available for distance education programs, 151 training seats for the Public Institute of Management program and 905 training seats for the rest of the training entities.
GACA also said it wanted to empower Saudi women to work in various fields within the Kingdom’s civil aviation sector.

Saudi foreign minister arrives in Poland on official visit

  • Prince Faisal bin Farhan will meet Polish counterpart on Monday

LONDON: Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, arrived in the Polish capital, Warsaw, on an official visit on Sunday.

He is scheduled to meet on Monday with Radoslaw Sikorski, the Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

They will discuss relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them across various fields, SPA added.
