Saudi Arabia extends suspension of flights, work in private and public sectors

RIYADH: The Saudi Interior Ministry said it is extending the suspension of international and internal flights as well as work at private and public sectors, the state-run news agency reported Saturday.

The statement said the indefinite suspension was among efforts to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
Domestic flights, trains, buses and taxis also remain suspended, the Interior Ministry added.

RIYADH: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sent a congratulatory telegram to Rob Jetten for assuming office as prime minister of the Netherlands and forming a government.

Jetten, 38, became the youngest prime minister in the country’s history following his party’s success in the October elections.

The crown prince extended his sincere congratulations and best wishes for success to Jetten and the people of the Netherlands, wishing them further progress and advancement, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
