Indian police detain woman accused of poisoning husband’s family of 6

DUBAI: Kerala police detained Jolly Shaju, who is accused of killing her husband and his family with the intention to kill two more, weekly magazine India Today reported on Wednesday.

Over a period of 14 years, six members of one family died under mysterious circumstances. After further investigations and autopsies, police discovered they were poisoned by cyanide-laced food.

Among those Jolly is accused of killing includes a two-year-old baby and the child’s mother. Jolly later reportedly married the father of the child she killed.

The case is still on-going.
