  • Al-Shehri has a master’s degree in information resources and electronic news, and a Ph.D. in electronic journalism from Sheffield University in the UK.
  • Al-Shehri is director of the Research and Studies Center, and of the Public Relations Department at King Fahd Security College. 

Fayez Al-Shehri has been a Shoura Council member since January 2013. He headed a council delegation that embarked on an official visit to Georgia on Thursday and met with officials at the Parliament, the Saudi-Georgian Friendship Committee, and Parliament’s economic affairs committee.

Al-Shehri received his bachelor’s degree in security sciences from King Fahd Security College. 

He has a master’s degree in information resources and electronic news, and a Ph.D. in electronic journalism from Sheffield University in the UK.

Al-Shehri is director of the Research and Studies Center, and of the Public Relations Department at King Fahd Security College. 

He is a lecturer in electronic media at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University and King Saud University. He also lectures at multiple scientific and training institutions on the use of the internet.

He is an adviser to the International Conference on Solidarity against Terrorism, the Arab Gulf Program for UN Development Organizations, and the Interactive Services Project for the Digital Terrestrial Broadcasting Service.

Al-Shehri is editor-in-chief of Security Research Magazine, and has founded a number of news websites.

He is involved in many associations, including the International Association of Internet Professionals in Virginia, the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication in California, and the International Communication Association in Washington.

Saudi Crown Prince receives letter from Bahraini king about bilateral relations

  • It is delivered by Bahrain’s ambassador to the Kingdom, Sheikh Ali Al-Khalifa, during a meeting in Riyadh with the deputy foreign minister, Waleed Al-Khuraiji

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received a letter from King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa of Bahrain on Thursday about relations between their countries.

It was delivered by Bahrain’s ambassador to the Kingdom, Sheikh Ali Al-Khalifa, during a meeting with the deputy foreign minister, Waleed Al-Khuraiji, in Riyadh, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The minister and the ambassador reviewed Saudi-Bahraini relations and ways in which they might be strengthened and developed in all fields.
