December 18 – Daily Mail states that British Airways is set to become the first Western airline to resume flights to Pakistan after a ten-year hiatus. The UK’s flag carrier halted flights following one of the most high-profile attacks in Pakistan’s history, the 2008 Marriott Hotel bombing in the capital, Islamabad.
