Riyadh screens premiere of American animated film

RIYADH: A special Arabic-dubbed screening of the American animated movie “Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation” was held on Thursday at Vox Cinemas in Riyadh Park. 

The screening was held in the presence of Saudi musician and “Arabs Got Talent” co-host Qusai Kheder, who was involved in the Arabic version of the film. 

“Hotel Transylvania 3” revolves around Dracula and his family, who take a vacation on a cruise ship. 

Dracula starts a romance with the ship’s captain, who is voiced by Lebanese TV presenter Raya Abirached.

Kheder, who voices Stan the fish, said: “I really enjoyed performing the Arabic version of the movie. It is a great experience to interpret the language from English to Arabic. It is a family movie, not only for kids.” 

He expressed happiness that the premier took place in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi crown prince congratulates Tarique Rahman on becoming Bangladeshi prime minister

RIYADH: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has congratulated Tarique Rahman after being sworn in as Bangladeshi prime minister.

The crown prince also congratulated Rahman for the formation of a new government under his leadership in the same message, the Saudi Press Agency reported early on Wednesday.

Prince Mohammed wished Rahman and the Bangladeshi people continued progress and prosperity.

Rahman, whose party won a sweeping parliamentary election victory, was sworn in as prime minister in an oath taking ceremony at the South Plaza of the parliament building on Tuesday. 

The sixty-year-old Rahman is the son of former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia and assassinated President Ziaur Rahman.
