Tunisia taking steps to attract investment, tourism with Saudi partnerships

JEDDAH: Tunisia has taken huge and effective steps toward attracting investment and tourism, said Ziad Ladhari, minister of development, investment and international cooperation.
Tunisia is ready to establish partnerships with countries — especially Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the UAE — to benefit from their experience in development, said Ladhari, who received a delegation from the International Islamic News Agency (IINA), a specialized organ of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
He also lauded cooperation with the IINA, and the role played by the Egyptian-Tunisian Joint Cooperation Committee in promoting economic, trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.

MUNICH: Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, held separate telephone conversations on Saturday with Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugyono and Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar.

The discussions focused on bilateral relations and a range of regional and international issues of mutual interest, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
