Fans of authentic Italian cuisine have reason to celebrate as Piatto introduces its new “Italian Trios,” three-dish combinations of Piatto’s most popular recipes in a single plate.
Available in four combinations named after popular Italian cities highly regarded for their regional specialty cuisines, each SR79 ($21) “Italian Trio” plate offers diners three filling “samplers” of classic Italian dishes.
The Roma Trio is a combination of Chicken Marinara, Lasagna and Rigatoni Alfredo, while the Venezia Trio is a filling triple dish of Lemon Chicken, Salmon and Pesto Rigatoni. Guests can enjoy the diverse flavors of Italy with the Milano Trio, which combines Lasagna with Lemon Chicken and Shrimp, while the Capri Trio features a rich pairing of Salmon with Pesto Rigatoni and Lasagna.
“Mixing and matching Piatto favorite recipes on one plate or ‘piatto,’ allows our guests a bit of fun while sampling popular Italian dishes,” said Steve Skoien, CEO of Alfa Co., which owns and operates the award-winning Piatto chain. “More importantly, the three-dish trios offer variety and great value that exceeds traditional two-dish combinations common in restaurant menus nowadays.”
All “Italian Trios” are served with Piatto’s signature complimentary bowl of Fresh Garden Salad and Rosemary Bread. They are available in a limited time offer in all 13 Piatto locations Kingdom-wide.
Piatto, which is famous for its large-portioned servings, relaxing “piazza” ambiance and friendly service, is a “Best Restaurant in Saudi Arabia” awardee at the Saudi Excellence in Tourism Awards. Piatto restaurants serve over a million guests in the Kingdom each year and is nominated again this year for the “Best Restaurant” award.
