ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will announce its new president on Tuesday, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Monday.
She added that Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif is the most competent and appropriate person for the position given his political acumen and performance in the province.
The PML-N will secure a majority in the upcoming Senate elections, Aurangzeb said.
