The News report by Reuters from New Delhi states that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is currently on a six-day official visit to India, called for closer security cooperation between New Delhi and Tel Aviv against the common threat of Islamist extremism. Netanyahu is the first Israeli premier to be visiting India during the last 15 years.
