LONDON: A Kuwait Airways passenger plane “bumped into” another aircraft at JFK International Airport in New York while on the runway, Kuwait News Agency reported.
The incident happened when the plane was on the runway before takeoff on Saturday, Kuwait News Agency reported.
There were no reports of injuries among passengers or crew.
Passengers were transferred to a hotel until further arrangements are made.
The incident follows another collision between two commercial airplanes on Friday night at Toronto Pearson International Airport that sparked a small fire and prompted the evacuation of dozens of passengers, according to the city’s airport authority.
