Army chief to brief Senate on security situation amid calls for clarification on Pakistan’s terms of reference in Saudi-led anti-terror coalition (Source: The News)

The News report by Mumtaz Alvi from Islamabad states that contrary to the norms, Chief of Army Staff Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa will brief the Senate Committee of the Whole on the security situation through an in-camera session on 19 December. This development has come amid senators’ demand for clarification on the terms of reference under which Pakistan joined the Saudi-led Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition.
