US to engage Pakistan one last time before taking actions deemed necessary

Voice of America report by William Gallo states that the US Defense Secretary James Mattis has said that the United States will press Pakistan one more time to deny safe havens to the militants of the Afghan Taliban and Haqqani Network who are involved in attacks on US and Afghan forces in Afghanistan before taking steps deemed necessary in the circumstances. Mattis is likely to convey this message to Pakistani officials during his upcoming visit to the country.
