Five anti-Taliban militiamen killed in roadside bomb explosion in Pakistan's tribal area

Stars and Stripes report by Ishtiaq Masud, from Dera Ismail Khan, states that a roadside remote-controlled bomb explosion left five anti-Taliban fighters dead and two others injured in Spinkai area of South Waziristan near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. Pakistani intelligence officials told on condition of anonymity that the victims were volunteers, supporting Pakistani military’s anti-terror drive. The Tehrik-e-Taliban Sajna group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
