Robbers loot, burn down store in Hada

Four Ethiopians fled with SR100,000 worth of cash and other items after robbing a commercial store in the Hada region in Taif on Friday.
The attackers tied up the store owner, dragged him to the back of the store and set fire to the store before fleeing the scene, said burnews.com.
“Four Ethiopians came into the store on Friday morning and tied my brother with a wire at gunpoint, after which they took all the cash at the store and the prepaid phone cards,” said the victim’s brother.
“My brother was crying as they set the store on fire and then disappeared.”
The man eventually broke free of the shackles and crawled to the store entrance, where he asked for the help of two people who happened to be passing by at the time.
The bystanders called police and the Civil Defense and the man was treated at a local hospital.
Polcie in Taif have intensified search operations for the four, local media said.
