The third Forum and Exhibition for Handicrafts kicked off here on Monday with 300 productive families, businesspeople, companies and government institutions participating in the event.
The forum aims to help men and women contribute to the development of the country’s economy, create jobs, efficient production and skills in arts and crafts.
The women’s side of the event is being held under the auspices of Princess Nouf bint Muqrin Al-Saud while the men’s section was opened by Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Amri, the director of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, Makkah branch.
Princess Nouf said such events help preserve the heritage and ensure a better image of the Kingdom abroad.
