TUNIS: Tunisia’s wheat stocks are sufficient to cover the country’s needs ‌until ‌January 2027, ‌the head ⁠of the state ⁠Cereals Office, Salwa Ben Hadid ⁠Zouari, ‌said on Thursday.

Tunisia’s ‌cereal harvest ‌this ‌year reached about 1.1 million metric ‌tons, with durum wheat ⁠accounting ⁠for around 70 percent of the total, Zouari added.
