BEIRUT: Israeli strikes in southern and eastern Lebanon late on Friday killed at least three people and injured 23, the Lebanese health ministry and Israeli military said. The ministry said strikes hit five locations in the southern Tyr and Nabatieh regions and the Bekaa region in the east. The Israeli ​military said it struck southern Lebanon after Hezbollah launched a drone attack toward Israeli soldiers. The wounded included medics, in ⁠addition to women ‌and children, ‌the ministry ​said. Hezbollah did not immediately respond to ⁠a ⁠request for comment. Since March 2, Israeli strikes have killed more than 4,300 people in Lebanon.
