DUBAI: US pop singer Britney Spears and husband Sam Asghari have separated after 14 months of marriage, Variety reported.
Spears has reportedly hired a dream team of Hollywood lawyers to take on the divorce proceedings.
The lawyers include Laura Wasser as well as Mathew Rosengart, who famously got her out of her conservatorship.
Asghari — a trainer, model and actor who has appeared in the shows “Black Monday” and “Hacks” — proposed to Spears in September 2021, and the couple married in June 2022.
The duo began dating in 2016 after meeting on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video.
