Authentic Italian cuisine is propelled to new heights as three Italians join forces to bring the authentic taste of Italy to Riyadh at La Cucina Restaurant, Al-Faisaliah Hotel. Chef de Cuisine, Fabio Vitale assisted by Alessandro Meroni presented one of their first creations during the new "Porcini & Truffle Promotion" from Nov. 17-21. The two chefs were supported by Filippo Cera, who has taken charge as the restaurant manager.
Located in the luxurious Al-Faisaliah Suites, La Cucina offers the sophistication to please even the most discerning diners and serving Italy on a plate in a charming setting has been the mission of its new leadership since taking charge. As the restaurant introduces new flavors and ingredients, a fresh menu will give guests a taste of Fabio’s signature dishes, in addition to little known recipes from smaller regions in Italy.
Fabio himself says, “Our Flavors of Autumn menu will take diners on a journey from small Italian villages with deep-rooted traditions to modern interpretations of our own creations. None of the dishes you will find on the menu are featured during brunch, as the concept is quite different. All I can say is that both offerings will definitely satisfy our guests who wish to have a taste of Italy at the highest level.”
Commenting on La Cucina Restaurant, Filippo said: “La Cucina stands out from other Italian restaurants as we work closely with select Italian suppliers to offer our guests the finest authentic Italian cuisine.”
As a welcome addition to the team, Alessandro, who will assist Fabio in the execution of the white truffle and mushroom porcini promotion, makes note of the redefined approach he takes to classical dishes and how his influence and style will add value to the team.
