RIYADH: Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain will arrive with his family in the Kingdom on Monday, to perform Umrah, Khayyam Akbar, deputy head of mission at the Pakistan Embassy in Riyadh, said on Friday.
Hussain has been a regular visitor to the Kingdom for performing Umrah with his family before assuming the Presidential office.
Continuing with the rich religious practice, the president is arriving to spend the initial days of the fasting month of Ramadan in Makkah and Madinah. Notably, the president during will not avail the entitled official protocol and expenditure as he, along with the family, will be traveling by PIA's commercial flight like an ordinary pilgrim.
Soon after assuming the high office in 2013, Hussain, along with his family members, performed Haj.

- The award at the Saudi Embassy in Abu Dhabi was for Sheikh Nahyan’s efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries
LONDON: The Saudi Ambassador to the UAE Sultan bin Abdullah Al-Anqari presented the King Abdulaziz Second-Class Scarf to Sheikh Nahyan bin Saif Al-Nahyan, the former UAE ambassador to the Kingdom.
The award at the Saudi Embassy in Abu Dhabi was for Sheikh Nahyan’s efforts to develop and strengthen relations between the two countries during his tenure in the Kingdom.
Sheikh Nahyan is currently the deputy minister of state in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE.
The presentation was made in accordance with an order issued by King Salman. Several Saudi and Emirati diplomats and officials attended it on Wednesday.
