Website to clear MERS doubts

The Health Ministry has launched a special website page containing information on the coronavirus, in addition to official statements and daily reports on the deadly disease.
The initiative comes after the ministry disseminated an emergency toll free number for MERS via SMS to residents.
Residents have welcomed these efforts, which dispel myths that have created widespread panic in recent months.
“Newspapers are creating unnecessary scare, said Mazhar Ali, a doctor.
The website includes the number of confirmed cases and fatalities within a 24-hour period and the distribution of cases according to region.
