Business interviews are a must read

As a regular reader of Arab News for a long time, I like the business section the most. The Arab News team is very active because whenever there is Saudi budget announcement or any other economic development, the first call I receive is from Arab News for expert comments.
Arab News always gives balanced news. This is very important to maintain a newspaper’s credibility.
The Saudi business community looks forward to look at Arab News on a daily basis. In addition to local news, they want to learn more about business and economic events happening worldwide, particularly Europe and the US
The interviews published by Arab News are also interesting. It is a good platform to share views for a larger number of audience.
The Arab News website also gives a good view of news locally as well as globally.
I believe, despite technological advancements, print media will hold its place intact for sometime.
At 39th anniversary, Arab News is going very strong and I wish a great success and wish the best of luck to the dedicated staff behind the scenes, who are taking pain to keep readers abreast of latest developments.
As a financial adviser and business broker, I envision that the interviews and comments are usually exposed to Google and other international platforms, which generally cover economic news regional and global. Arab News is always in the forefront to highlight the capital market activities in Saudi Arabia which is the largest market in the Middle East.

Taif festival celebrates Saudi Arabia’s literary icons

  • It introduces visitors to the contributions of literary pioneers through accessible visual and narrative content

TAIF: A special section highlighting key Saudi literary figures forms part of the Writers and Readers Festival in Taif.

The area explores the lives of distinguished writers, poets, and authors who have shaped the Kingdom’s creative landscape, influencing literature, journalism, theater and intellectual thought.

It introduces visitors to the contributions of literary pioneers through accessible visual and narrative content, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday.

Organized by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission, the festival runs until Jan. 15 and features 42 prominent publishing houses from Saudi Arabia and overseas, offering visitors the chance to explore the latest works in literature, philosophy and general knowledge.

Meanwhile, the festival’s interactive murals section engages visitors with openwork art panels, allowing them to contribute to the city’s features and identity.

The murals depict Taif’s natural and historical landmarks, including Al-Hada Mountain, the Taif rose gardens, and traditional Hijazi palaces. Others are inspired by Souq Okaz, a historic literary and commercial center linked to the region’s poetic heritage.

Designed by a visual artist, they blend folk-inspired elements with imaginative expression, creating a collaborative experience that celebrates the city’s beauty and brings art closer to the public.
