Students and teachers from both the upper and lower schools had been working on projects, presentations and charts for more than a month.
Students floated ideas and turned them into reality with the help of their teachers.
On the day of the fair, the school opened with excitement, fervor and energy in the air. Principal Asma Dilawar Beg Mirza and Vice Principal Mary Francis Griffin were there to welcome all parents.
Presentations from the lower school covered subjects such as the solar system and forms of energy. There was even a demonstration involving a miniature sports car to demonstrate energy in motion.
Displays on landforms, fossils, volcanoes, rocks, life and water cycles adorned the corridors.
The kindergarten section also participated by demonstrating the advantages of recycling, reusing and reducing waste.
They created caterpillars made out of egg containers, while old CDs were turned into decoration pieces.
Upper school students had developed presentations and charts explaining DNA, functions of lungs and the excretory system. An electric house and a chart about healthy diets were also displayed.
The teachers and students tried to cover almost every aspect of science.
Food, jewelry and book stalls were also featured at the fair, as part of the school’s intention to add more color and action.
