Real estate sources told Arab News that a local events management firm will be contracted to organize the event, called “Makkah: Real Estate & Construction.”
The conference will be held at the King Abdul Aziz Hall at Umm Al-Qura University.
The Real Estate Committee at the Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry met on Tuesday to review the 10 themes to be covered at the conference.
They include the current real estate environment in Makkah, the role of government organization and investment laws in organizing real estate services, foreign investment in real estate, the impact of constructional planning on real estate services and the hurdles impeding the development of the sector, among others.
According to the committee, the conference will also discuss the feasibility of building model economic suburbs for low-income citizens.
