RIYADH: Alfaisal University, supported by King Faisal Foundation, will begin its academic session from Saturday. Local and foreign students are set to begin their university programs in engineering, business and medicine.
“All roads have led to this day as we eagerly anticipate the arrival of our first batch of students and prepare for our opening,” said university spokesperson Saphia Ikram. “Faculty, staff and employees at the university will be ready to help and lend support to the students arriving at the campus.”
Students eager to embark upon their undergraduate studies at Alfaisal registered for their courses early this month.
The campus, which is set in the austere surroundings of the late King Faisal’s palace in Maather hosts, the four main faculties and has the capacity to enroll 4,000 students. The first campus building has been completed and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including high-tech loboratories.
