RAMALLAH: Israeli settlers continued expansion activities in several areas north of Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, coinciding with a raid on the town of Sinjil.
Local sources reported that Israeli bulldozers carried out land leveling and expansion works at the illegal settlement of Eli, built on Palestinian-owned land near the towns of Turmus Ayya and Al-Lubban Al-Sharqiya, south of Nablus, as part of ongoing colonial expansion plans.
Meanwhile, colonists continued to expand the pastoral outpost established on the plains of Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah, by bringing equipment and heavy machinery to the area in an effort to tighten control over more Palestinian land.

In the same context, settlers raided the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, and toured the outskirts of the town, sparking tensions among local residents.
Armed Israeli settlers, protected by Israeli soldiers, on Monday attacked Palestinian homes in Khirbet Al-Kharaba, southeast of the town of As-Samu, south of Hebron.
As-Samu Mayor Muhammad Abu Aqil said that heavily armed settlers attacked the homes of the Daghameen family in Khirbet Al-Kharaba, located southeast of As-Samu, grazed their livestock on privately owned Palestinian land, and vandalized property in the community.
Meanwhile, Osama Makhameh, an anti-settlement activist in southern Hebron, said that Israeli forces raided Khallat Al-Homs, south of Yatta, and delivered a stop-work order to Khalil Azmi Bahis for his one-story house, which is 270 square meters and houses 14 people.
Israeli forces also delivered a stop-work order to a three-room caravan belonging to the detainee Muhammad Musa Ad’eis, which houses 10 people, and another to a house under construction belonging to Faisal Muhammad Abu Tuhfa.
Israeli forces detained a Palestinian man and his son on Monday in the village of Munizel, near Yatta, south of Hebron.
Makhameh said that Israeli troops raided the village and detained Jihad Ibrahim Mur and his son, Ibrahim, after the two attempted to confront Israeli colonists who had released their livestock near Palestinian homes, damaging their crops and property.
