HAVANA: Cuba has restored its power grid, authorities said Wednesday, after the third total blackout in less than ten days as the island faces an energy crisis amid a US oil blockade.
The island’s electrical system was fully functioning at 7:00 am local time (11:00 GMT), the state-owned electric company posted on X, following a blackout Tuesday it said was caused by a malfunction.
