MADINAH: Madinah Cardiac Center recently concluded its Cardiac Emergency Symposium for the Hajj season, with leading consultants and specialists in emergency medicine, cardiology, and critical care.
The Madinah Health Cluster said the symposium aimed to strengthen healthcare professionals’ preparedness in managing cardiac emergencies during Hajj.
The event saw broad participation from physicians and healthcare practitioners across multiple specialties, focusing on the latest evidence-based practices for managing cardiac conditions among pilgrims.
The symposium featured specialized sessions on cardiac risk assessment for pilgrims, improving care for heart failure patients, and strategies for managing heart attacks.
It also included presentations on field experiences in handling critical cases in emergency departments and activating cardiac catheterization labs during peak periods.
