Israeli attacks kill at least four Palestinians in Gaza

CAIRO: Israeli military attacks killed at least four Palestinians in the Gaza Strip ​on Sunday, health officials in the enclave said.
Medics said an airstrike carried out by Israel’s forces killed one person near the central village of Al-Mughraqa, while Israeli gunfire and tank shelling killed two others near Gaza City.
In another ‌incident, Israeli ‌forces shot and ​killed ‌a 40-year-old ⁠woman in ​Khan Younis, in the south of the territory, health officials said. The Israeli military said it was unaware of any attack by its troops in that area at the time of the reported incident on Sunday.
The Israeli military said ‌it was ‌looking into the other reported strikes. ​
Separately, it said ‌it had struck and killed several ‌militants in Gaza since Friday.
Violence in Gaza has persisted despite an October 2025 ceasefire, with Israel conducting almost daily attacks on Palestinians.
At ‌least 800 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire deal took ⁠effect, ⁠according to local medics.
The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,587, with 172,381 people injured since the start of the war on October 7, 2023, medical sources reported on Sunday.
Local health authorities reported that hospitals in the war-ridden territory received two fatalities and 11 injuries over the past 24 hours.
According to the sources, the total number of fatalities since the start of the current ceasefire on Oct. 11, 2025, has reached 811, while injuries have risen to 2,278. In addition, 761 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble.
They added that a number of victims remain trapped under debris and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue crews are still unable to reach them.
