RIYADH: Aquarabia Qiddiya City, billed as the largest water park in the Middle East, will open in Qiddiya City on April 23, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Saturday.
“It marks a new step in strengthening Qiddiya City’s position as a global destination for entertainment, sports, and culture,” the SPA stated.
Aquarabia features 22 rides and experiences for guests of all ages, including, the SPA claimed, “four world-record-breaking attractions.”
The park is spread over more than 250,000 sq. meters, and is split into eight themed zones, each inspired by Saudi Arabia’s native wildlife and landscapes. It also features seven dry rides and attractions.
Standard adult admission tickets start at SR325. Those for children aged 4 to 11 are priced at SR200, while children under the age of four can enter for free.
There is also a 15-percent discount on tickets booked at least five days in advance. Each ticket grants entry to all the park’s rides and attractions, except for surfing, which costs extra.
Ninety-one luxury cabanas are available as an in-park upgrade. The AquaFast Pass is also available for those who wish to skip the queues.
“Twenty-four food and beverage outlets and seven retail stores are located within the park, ensuring guests can find everything they need, from swimwear and sunscreen to souvenirs and merchandise,” the SPA reported.
The park will operate from noon to 8 p.m. daily, with Fridays dedicated to women only.
