RIYADH: The Saudi Civil Defense said Tuesday that debris from an intercepted drone left two people injured in Al-Kharj, southeast of the capital Riyadh.

The drone shrapnel fell on three houses and several vehicles in a neighborhood causing limited material damage, said a statement carried by Saudi Arabia's official SPA news agency.
“Falling debris from the interception of a drone in Al-Kharj province caused two minor injuries and limited material damage to three homes and several vehicles,” SPA added.

The standard procedures for such incidents were implemented, it said.
