RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Attorney General Khalid Al-Yousef launched the Public Prosecution’s institutional transformation program, aimed at developing the work environment and improving institutional efficiency.
It is designed to improve performance and raise service standards in line with modernization and development goals, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Wednesday.
The launch comes with leadership support for strengthening the judicial system and enhancing institutional efficiency.
The program aims to improve work practices through key dimensions aligned with governance principles, supporting the Public Prosecution’s goal of improving institutional and prosecutorial work.
It focuses on strengthening leadership and performance, enhancing prosecutorial professionalism, and reinforcing legal foundations, the SPA added.
It also seeks to improve governance, re-engineer procedures, advance digital transformation, and enhance outputs and performance indicators.
The program further aims to strengthen organizational culture, improve human resource efficiency, enhance financial planning, and increase spending efficiency. It also addresses user experience and service quality.
It reflects efforts to strengthen institutional work, develop the system, modernize procedures, and align work mechanisms with best practices.
It also supports digital transformation, improves output quality and performance indicators, enhances organizational climate and human resource efficiency, strengthens spending efficiency and resource use, and improves user experience and service delivery.
Al-Yousef also formed a steering committee to oversee the program, along with executive teams tasked with managing its dimensions and monitoring implementation.
