DODOMA: Saudi Ambassador to Tanzania Yahya Okeish recently attended an Eid Al-Fitr reception held under the patronage of President Samia Suluhu Hassan and organized by the Supreme Islamic Council, headed by Mufti Sheikh Abu Bakr bin Ali.
Senior officials, ambassadors, religious leaders and members of the public attended the event, the Saudi Embassy said in a post on X on Monday.
“This holiday reflects the values of brotherhood, compassion, and solidarity that unite us,” Okeish said in a post on X. “I ask Almighty God to keep Tanzania safe and bless it with peace, tranquility, and progress.”
