AL-BAHA: The Kingdom’s Al-Baha region has experienced heavy rainfall, accompanied by hail and a noticeable drop in temperature — yet the weather appears to have boosted its appeal to tourists.
While there have been flash floods in the area’s valleys and ravines, the weather has also created a distinctive spring-like atmosphere that has emphasized the region’s diverse terrain and beauty.
Hail has covered the roads and vehicles, but waterfalls have formed and vegetation in the highlands and open areas has flourished, coinciding with increased visitor numbers.
