KSrelief clinics help 6,800 in Zaatari camp

  • General medicine and pediatric clinics recorded the highest volume of cases, while the internal medicine clinic managed nearly 500 patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension

AMMAN: Clinics in Zaatari refugee camp, Jordan, organized by the Saudi aid agency KSrelief,  provided medical services to 6,891 patients during February.

General medicine and pediatric clinics recorded the highest volume of cases, while the internal medicine clinic managed nearly 500 patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Specialized care was provided by various departments, including dentistry, ophthalmology, cardiology, and rehabilitation.

In addition to consultations, the clinics conducted 8,865 laboratory tests and 742 imaging procedures. The center’s comprehensive approach included administering 527 vaccinations and conducting 1,100 physiotherapy sessions, reaffirming the Kingdom’s commitment to providing high-quality, sustainable healthcare to Syrian refugees.
