RIYADH: The Saudi Ministry of Commerce conducted more than 10,000 inspection visits across the Kingdom last week to ensure the availability of essential goods and food supplies during the peak Ramadan season.
The inspections focused on monitoring high-demand products, verifying the presence of affordable alternatives, and enforcing price transparency regulations.
The ministry aims to prevent price manipulation by deploying comprehensive field teams. These ensure the safety of consumer products and protect shoppers from fraudulent promotional offers throughout the holy month.
