TASHKENT: Sultan Al-Marshad, CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development, met with Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Khodjayev Jamshid Abdukhakimovich in Tashkent recently.

The two men discussed “ways to enhance development cooperation across various development sectors in Uzbekistan,” according to a post on X from the fund’s official account. 

Also recently, in Riyadh, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Alkhereiji received Nuno Mathias, the ambassador of Portugal to the Kingdom, who bid farewell as his tenure in the Kingdom is ending.

Saudi crown prince meets with US senator Lindsey Graham in Riyadh

RIYADH: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met with US senator Lindsey Graham in Riyadh on Friday, state news agency SPA reported.

The two discussed bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and the United States and regional developments.

Also at the meeting was Saudi foreign minister Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of defense Khaled Al Saud and Member of the Council of Ministers Musaad Al Aiban.

Earlier, Graham had said the Saudi crown prince believed in the need to reach a dignified solution for the Palestinian people.

“Saudi Arabia is key to what I hope will happen in the region and the world,” Graham added.

“The Saudi Crown Prince’s vision will shape the region for generations to come, and is great for the civilized world,” said Graham.
